Designed by Desire The full book review is available on my blog Musings of an opinionated woman the story was entertaining This is a nice light romance read for one afternoon or while on vacation The love scenes are not too scandalous but still quite steamy I would read another book by this author Designed by Desire is the first book I ve read by Pamela Yaye It caught my attention when I read the blurb as I love fashion and a steamy romance.Brianna Hamilton is a fashion designer for her family s design business, Roger Hamilton Designs Her life is in a whirlwind due to an attack on her sister, fighting the gossip of the tabloids, and a new hot man that stepped into her life To get away from the madness and forget about her problems, Brianna decides to have a weekend fling in Paris with a hot stranger she meets in a restaurant.Collin Childs is a wealth, sexy owner of an international chain of hotels He s in Paris to meet with a client He meets Brianna Hamilton and falls for her But they agree to walk away from the weekend fling with no strings attached His luck changes when Brianna shows up at his offices for a meeting instead of her brother, giving Collin a new opportunity to woo her again. As I said earlier, I love fashion and a steamy romance so I really wanted to like this book, but I couldn t connect with the characters or the storyline Brianna seemed flighty and constantly unsure of herself She supposedly came from a high profile family in the design industry, but was easily impressed or surprised by things that should have been a normal part of the lives of the wealthy She continually mentioned or touted about Liked this one better than the first book in the series Now I want a Collin but who wouldn t Bailey s story is next I guess Daniel doesn t get one. Designed By Desire is the second book in the multi author series Fashioned With Love, but it can be read as a standalone story It is a bewildering read, but that s because of the bizarre double standards and logic holes rather than continuity issues This one has the same issues as the previous two books by this author that I ve read it seems like she makes things up as she goes along instead of basing her story on any semblance of reality.Brianna Hamilton is a fashion designer who is, currently, under stress You see, events from the last book culminated with some drama involving the younger sister, a model I don t want to give away the nature of the drama, but it s not something that is actually shocking in the real world It s actually an open secret that it s a common hobby among folks in the fashion industry, to the point that it s even touted as an easy way to lose weight, without the messy consequences of eating disorders But in this story, it s a shocking thing so everyone acts like it has never happened before and oh my god, the family reputation is in jeopardy.Brianna has always made sure that she has a spotless reputation She doesn t act skanky or sexy, and she even recoils in disgust when there is a possibility that she would be seen attending a movie by a director known for his sexually explicit scenes That makes sense We people expect our fashion designers to be role models with behavior that surpass the track record of saints It also makes sense Brianna is a fashion designer in her family owned design business, Roger Hamilton Designs Ever the sturdy sister, she was under tremendous stress with attack on her sister and trying hard to avoid any damaging gossips by the media on her family After the fashion week ended, she took an impromptu trip to Paris and she met Collin Childs at a restaurant Collin is a sexy owner of an international chain of hotels Without realising the truth identity of each other, they agreed to have a weekend fling with no string attached They have a wonderful time together for a week before parting ways Only to reunites few days later when they representing their respective family for a potential business together Collin is all out to woo Brianna and prove to her that they are meant to be together This is the 2nd book in the Fashioned by Love series and a sequel of Styles by Seduction by Jacqueline Thomas D Rating 3.5 Divaz StarzReview Passion in the city of love Paris Brianna Hamilton is in Paris for fashion week and during the Fashion show her eyes meet that of a sexy stranger Brianna, recently divorced is not in the market for another relationship but the magnetism and sparks from the stranger have her rethinking that decision After another chance meeting in the hotel bar, Brianna decides to embark upon a week long affair with the sexy stranger with only the name of Collin Figuring they would only have Paris the two have a wonderful, romantic affair in Paris for a week before parting ways Only to find out a few days later, fate reunites these two and they find out their families are potential business partners Collin sets out to woo Brianna and overcome her obstacles to prove their love was Designed by Desire Will these two succeed in the ultimate design of love, readers will need to pick a copy of Designed by Desire.Designed by Desire is the second installment in The Hamiltons Fashioned with Love series and was a wonderful love story of overcoming past scars and reaching out for love Ms Yaye did a good job weaving this love story The attraction between Brianna and Collin was instant and jumped off the pages Readers can see Collin s determination to make the relationship work regardless of Brianna s fears The story flowed and stayed on tract and set the stage for the next book Loved how Ms Yaye gave readers information o This is the second book in the Fashioned by Love series and picks up where that one Styles of Seduction by Jacquelin Thomas left off in the aftermath of New York Fashion Week The Roger Hamilton Designs runway show was a success, but the other drama surrounding the day makes Brianna Hamilton want to get away for a bit, so she heads to Paris to oversee the family s show there at Paris Fashion Week With business over, meeting Collin Childs gives Brianna the perfect opportunity to de stress and let loose at least while she s in Paris with no strings attached.Back in New York, a fateful meeting brings the two together again, but with the possibility of someone trying to sabotage her family s business, Brianna is reluctant to add a budding romance to the mix But Collin is determined not to give up.This installment in the series was a whole lot Another Hamilton Family Winner I loved this book about Brianna Hamilton and Colin Childs This is an great series written by several authors I hated to see this book end I loved experiencing Paris, New York, and St Thomas through the main charact I really liked this It actually reminded me a lot of Harlequin Presents titles, especially in the jet setting aspect The third party stuff wasn t particularly interesting to me, I d rather have had a little internal
