A confronting biography I found this book quite graphic and rather sad story of the author s life It was not a positive book or ending either I felt the author had never caught a break in her life from the beginning, her childhood to even her grown adulthood, her destructive, lonely marriage.Interesting insight into Asian culture and their day to day life in the 60 s in Singapore Asia.I had hopped the author would finally have a reunion with her children but to find they did not want to be part of her life I felt maybe there was something missing here but maybe not It did not take me long to read this book once I had gotten past the initial start of the book which I found a little hard to progress.
